Book of Abstract Petra International Conference on Sustainable Cities and Regions (PICSCAR) 2024: Toward Sustainable Cities and Regions: Growth – Regeneration – Innovation

The topics discussed in the conference are: Community Engagement and Social Innovation, Urban planning and design, Sustainable Transportation and mobility, Community resilience to disaster and change, Innovation and access to basic services, Cultural heritage and identity, social inclusion and equity, Leadership Sustainability, Digital sustainability, Public-Private Partnership, and Creative Economy and City Development. PICSCAR provides a discussion forum (Research Discussion Session – RDS) for researchers, private developers and city governments to meet and exchange ideas on current developments and future directions to achieve sustainable goals. RDS is divided into 3 main groups, namely: growth, regeneration, and innovations. This discussion group provides a structured framework for exploration and in-depth discussion of specific aspects related to sustainable development goals and relevant research areas. The collection of research results and discussion results are summarized in this book as documentation of ideas that are mainly contributed to the sustainable development of the city of Surabaya. It is hoped that these ideas can be a source of reference, aspiration, and inspiration that can be continued in the Surabaya city development forum and realized for more concrete benefits for the city of Surabaya.
